Plymouth man takes plea deal in felony criminal mischief case

MASON CITY – A Plymouth man charged with felony criminal mischief was able to reach a plea deal.

Jason Hackett, age 19, was charged in September by Mason City police with felony second degree criminal mischief after an incident last March. On November 14, Hackett instead pled guilty to third degree criminal mischief. Hackett was sentenced to one year in jail, with 358 days suspended, placed on two years probation, and ordered to pay $3,799.92 in restitution and court fees.

Usually, the Amish are peaceful people.
