Steven “Steve” Rowe, age 75, passed away on March 21, 2026, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Steve was born on December 10, 1950, in Storm Lake, Iowa. He graduated from Mason City High School in 1969 and continued his education at North Iowa Area Community College and Hamilton College.

Steve dedicated 30 years of his career to Lehigh Cement. Beginning as a Shift Foreman, he earned numerous promotions through hard work and determination, ultimately serving his final eight years as Plant Manager at Lehigh’s facility in Woodsboro, Maryland.

In 1979, Steve married his beloved wife, Connie Olson. He was a proud father to his daughter, Kady Obradovich of Wiesbaden, Germany, and stepfather to Chad Eskildsen of Towson, Maryland. He was known affectionately as “Grandpa Steve” to his three grandsons, Abraham Numerick of St. Louis, Missouri, and Ryan and Patrick Eskildsen of Towson, Maryland.

Steve was preceded in death by his daughter, Shay Elizabeth, and his parents, Don and Dorothy Rowe.

A hardworking man with a quick wit, Steve was known for his steady presence and his ability to connect with others. He enjoyed spending time on the golf course with friends and family and was a lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
