CLEAR LAKE – The Clear Lake fire department will kick of Fire Prevention Week with their annual pancake breakfast.
Fire can strike anywhere, anytime and the wants citizens to “LOOK, LISTEN, LEARN”. They will spread awareness through their annual pancake breakfast. Their “special recipe” pancakes, link sausages, coffee, juice and milk will be served from 7:00am to 1pm at the Fire Station. Ticket prices are still only $5.00 a person (children 12 and under eat free when accompanied by a paying adult).
Profits from the annual breakfast are used to purchase specialized firefighting and rescue equipment and maintain the 9/11 memorial. They also help with upkeep and improvements to the Fire Museum, and maintenance and renovation of the antique equipment on display. This year, funds raised will also go towards the Cade Hartwig Memorial Scholarship.
The CLFD thanks citizens in advance for your support, and look forward to having breakfast with you on OCTOBER 7th.
