Robert “Bob” Maurice Allen
October 1, 1972 – March 14, 2026
Robert “Bob” Maurice Allen was born on October 1, 1972, to Theodore and Linda (Edgington) Allen.
A Life on the Farm
Bob was raised on the Allen family farm outside of Emmetsburg, Iowa, by his grandparents, Maurice and Rosie Allen, and his uncle, Terry Allen. It was there that Bob developed his lifelong passions. As a young man, he could almost always be found working the land, breaking horses, or enjoying the company of his family and friends.
Family and Legacy
In his early 20s, Bob met Danielle, the mother of his children. Together they raised four daughters, who eventually blessed Bob with seven grandchildren.
Bob was a man who lived life on his own terms. Whether he was on the back of a horse or sharing a laugh with those close to him, he was unforgettable. He was famously one of those people you either loved, hated, or hated that you loved—but you certainly couldn’t ignore him.
Survivors
Bob leaves behind a large, loving family who will carry on his stories:
Danielle Allen, the mother of his children.
His four daughters: Ashley Metzger, Jordan Allen Walker, Deven Allen, and Kylie Allen.
His seven grandchildren: Aubrey, Adyson, Shia, Magnolia, Jackson, Ophelia, and Lillian Rose.
Countless other family members and friends who shared in his journey.
The Farewell Party
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, there will be no formal service or burial. Instead, he wanted a party to celebrate his life.
