Kenneth Daniel, son of Kenneth and Marian (Redies) Latwesen was born December 8, 1962, in California. He spent the majority of his childhood in the Fredericksburg area where he received his education and graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1981. Following high school, Kenny moved to Rochester, Minnesota where he began working as a carpenter at Bigelow Homes. Kenny had a relentless work ethic where he led his crew at Bigelow in the building of over 800 homes in the Rochester area. In his spare time, he built 3 beautiful homes for his family. He also did multiple side jobs on the weekends including lawncare and snow removal in Rochester. He was married to Lisa Enger for twenty-five years and the couple were blessed with two children, Cassandra and Anthony. Kenny returned to his hometown of Fredericksburg ten years ago. He enjoyed wood-working, boating, fishing, camping, and loved sports. He was an Iowa Hawkeye and Vikings fan but followed all the Iowa teams including High School sports. Kenny also thoroughly enjoyed having his family and friends over to his beautifully landscaped private campsite near Frederika. While there, friends and family would enjoy camping, boating, kayaking, and fishing. There were many great memories made with all the cookouts, campfires and fireworks.
Kenny is survived by his children, Cassandra (Izaiah Hanson) Latwesen of St. Paul, Minnesota and Anthony Latwesen of Rochester; grandson, Oliver Hanson; siblings, Deb (Darol) Stahlhut of Frederika, Diana (Allan) Goodrich of Fredericksburg, Denise (Rick) Haugen of Fredericksburg, Kevin Latwesen of Cresco, and Dawn (Chris) Zmoos of Waucoma; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his niece, Renee Stahlhut.
