Becky Fedeler, 70, of Sumner, died unexpectedly, Sunday, December 21, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 29, 2025, at St. John Lutheran Church in Sumner with Rev. Tracy Hinkel officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Sumner. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Sunday, December 28th at Becker & Son Funeral Home in Sumner and for one hour preceding services at the Church on Monday. Memorials may be made to the family for later designation.

Rebecca Ann, daughter of Robert and Beverly (Brandenburg) Gruenberg was born December 4, 1955, at Palmer Lutheran Hospital in West Union. She was baptized January 15, 1955, at St. Peter Lutheran Church-Richfield, rural Sumner and confirmed March 22, 1970, at St. John Lutheran Church in Sumner. Becky attended Sumner Schools and graduated from Sumner High School in 1974. On April 17, 1982, she was united marriage with Walter “Junior” Fedeler at St. John Lutheran Church. To this union a daughter was born, Melissa. Becky worked for Larry’s Pizza in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s and later for Sumner School District for nearly thirty years. In addition she assisted her husband, Junior at Fedeler’s Plumbing and Heating. She was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church in Sumner, the CMH Auxiliary and was involved in Meals on Wheels for many years. Becky loved being outdoors, whether it be gardening, tending her flowers or golf cart rides around town, canning vegetables, was in a bowling league, enjoyed playing cards, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and attending their activities.

Becky is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Ted) Bulman of Frederika; three grandchildren, Carter, Mason, and Izzy Bulman; two sisters; sister-in-law, Deb Gruenberg of Sumner; and several other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Fedeler; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gertrude and Erwin Platte; and brother, Larry.
