Ronald James Allan, 87, Allison, Iowa passed away peacefully at The Villages in Ackley. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2025 at St Peter Lutheran Church in Greene.

Ronald James Allan, 87, Allison, Iowa passed away peacefully at The Villages in Ackley. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2025 at St Peter Lutheran Church in Greene. A public visitation will be held from 10:00 until the service time on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Ron’s family to be used after a fund has been established. Woodley Funeral Home of Allison is caring for Ron and his family.

He was born the youngest child to Carl and Fannie Allan on Dec. 1, 1938. Ron graduated from Allison High School. He married the love of his life Delores on March 4, 1960, in Allison. Together they were blessed with 5 children and enjoyed time spent with their family. Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and grandchildren at the family pond and at the A frame by Clarksville. Family gatherings for Thanksgiving was a special time with walks thru the woods and enjoying all the beautiful nature there. Ron worked at Allan Chevrolet, REC, State Bank of Allison, 1st National Bank of Waverly, Allison Propane and Allan Industrial Coatings.

Ron is survived by his 5 children Dave (Pat) Allan, Montezuma, Ranae (Randy) Krull, Shell Rock, Crystol (Dave) Harms, Allison Monte (Kelly) Allan, Parkersburg Monica (Jeff) Neuendorf, Waverly twenty grandchildren and many great children, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother and sister.
