MASON CITY – Around 1:30 pm Thursday, a group of girls were questioned by the Mason city Police Department about a bike one of them was riding.
The officers stopped the girls on the 600 block of South Pierce, in front of the Workforce Center and investigated the bike.
“She borrowed the bike from a friend,” said a witness.
It was a bike that had been reported stolen. The Mason City Police officers confiscated the bike and took it to the Mason City Police Department.
