August 25, 1963 — October 20, 2025

Mark Fuhs, 62, of Webster City ended his earthly journey on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Van Diest Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2025 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.

Mark Eugene Fuhs, son of Thomas and Shirley (Stout) Fuhs, was born August 25, 1963 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Dekalb, IL. He graduated from Webster City high school in 1982 and spent many years working for Frigidaire. Mark spent most of his working days at Fuhs Bakery in the early mornings working side by side with his dad making breads and donuts. You always knew when he was around and cleaned as it was always organized and spotless. He worked many long hours but enjoyed his sleep.

Mark enjoyed nature. He had traveled several times to Yellowstone National Park where he enjoyed camping and kayaking. His favorite place close to home to be was Briggs Woods. Mark especially enjoyed listening to rock ‘n roll, especially Metallica and sipping on his Pepsi. He was a great guy with a big heart, willing to help anyone that will be missed by many.

He is survived by his parents, Tom and Shirley Fuhs of Webster City; siblings, Paula (Tom) Scott of Stanhope, Joanne (Barry) Stoelting of Webster City, Carla Fuhs of Ankeny, Jon Fuhs of West Des Moines, Carrie (Clint) Olson of Webster City and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Fuhs; grandparents, Hubert and Margaret Fuhs and Burl and Hazel Stout.

A big thank you to all the doctors, nurses and caretakers that have been there for Mark over the years. Your compassion and love was seen and felt by the family. As Mark would always say, “So far so good.”
