AMES – Iowa State sophomore center Audi Crooks has been named a Third Team All-American by both the Associated Press and the US Basketball Writer’s of America. It marks the second and third All-America honors for Crooks in her career after earning AP All-America Honorable Mention a season ago.

The 6-3 Cyclone center is the first Iowa State sophomore to earn a spot on an All-America team for both the USBWA and AP.

Crooks has averaged 23.2 points per contest this season to lead the Big 12 Conference while shooting over 60 percent from the floor. She leads the nation in field goals with 304 makes this season and has made 562 in her career, tying the 10th-best mark by a Cyclone (Hallie Christofferson, 2011-14). The Algona native broke Iowa State single-season records for points (765) and made field goals this season. Heading into the NCAA Tournament, Crooks is the only Big 12 player to rank in the Top 5 of the conference for both scoring and rebounding (7.6 RPG). She finished with 20-plus points in 22 of 33 games this season and posted seven 30-point games this season.
