After Donald Trump ordered them to kill bipartisan legislation that would secure our border and support our allies abroad, Zach Nunn, Randy Feenstra, Ashley Hinson (pictured at top ranting about how government doesn’t work for the people), and Mariannette Miller-Meeks and MAGA House Republicans are taking a two-week vacation while vital services for Iowa farmers and veterans are in jeopardy.
“Zach Nunn, Randy Feenstra, Ashley Hinson, and Mariannette Miller-Meeks are putting Iowa’s farmers and veterans at risk while taking a two-week vacation. Let’s not forget, this vacation comes right after they abandoned a bipartisan deal to improve border security. If they can’t come up with a way to fund the government by March 1 our farmers and veterans will lose access to critical federal services that they rely on,” said Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart. “Iowa’s congressional delegation is already part of the most ineffective congress ever, and now they are giving themselves some time off at a time when the nation faces yet another threat of a government shutdown.”
We don’t need just legislation. We need good legislation. I have been impressed with Ashley Hinson’s hard work for those she represents, including her efforts to keep us updated on her work and to garner input, ensuring her decisions reflect her voters’ values.
This isn’t surprising. Feenstra is telling everyone how hard he is working for them; Hinson is still crying over her failed takeover of the Linn Mar school district; Miler-Meeks is trying to keep her seat in the House and Nunn is currying favor with trump. Actually doing something none of them can do without trump’s approval.

Not surprising, since not one of the names you mentioned has brains enough to come in out of the rain. They also had important CPAC/MAGA rallies to attend, which are more important to them than the lives, health, and welfare of Iowans. They’re worthless sycophants.
