MINNEAPOLIS – Police in Minnesota’s largest city say a suspect went on a violent crime spree of carjacking, stealing, mugging and shooting folks, and now they want to bring him to justice before more are victimized.
The Minneapolis Police are asking for public assistance in identifying the pictured individual (above). Police say this individual is accused of striking a male with a handgun and stealing his backpack near 12th St S and Lasalle Av on December 7th, striking two women with a handgun, and stealing one of their purses near 5th St S and Hennepin Ave on December 3rd, and striking a male with a handgun, attempting to rob him, shooting him, and then carjacking his vehicle near 4th Av S and Lake St on December 3rd. The carjacked vehicle was later found abandoned and burned in Bloomington.
The man is described as a black male in his 30s and is approximately 5’9” tall. He has black hair and a black goatee.
Anyone with information on this suspect should call police. Â Anyone traveling to Minneapolis from North Iowa should consider keeping a close eye on their surroundings.
