DES MOINES – The Iowa caucuses – where a few thousand motivated registered Republican voters pick their favorite Republican Presidential candidate – are set to be held Monday night, January 15 across the Hawkeye state.
The top contenders – Donald Trump, Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis and few others barely worth mentioning – remain in the race and in the state as voters prepare to bundle up in record cold temperatures to converge upon their caucus locations and select their favorite candidate. New polls show Donald Trump romping away from the pretenders after many months of debates and jockeying for position. Â Nikki Haley appears to be pulling ahead of Ron DeSantis, but he seems to have a strong ground game intact. The Florida Governor is all-in for Iowa. With Governor Kim Reynolds’ endorsement, DeSantis is betting everything on winning here. If he takes third, his campaign may not survive many more weeks. Â Haley appears strong in the next state, New Hampshire, and might even challenge Trump there.
According to candidate campaigns who relentlessly contact local voters with texts and emails and mailings begging for support, the events start at 7 PM but folks should arrive at 6:30. Voters should make sure their voter registration is up-to-date.

The Iowa GOP says that “if you are not a registered voter or a registered Republican, that’s okay! Just be prepared to register in-person at your caucus location on caucus night!”
