Deanna Marie Helmick, was born on June 22, 1949 in Estherville, Iowa to Fred and Florence (Mason) Clark. She passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the age of 73 years.
Deanna attended school in Estherville. On April 12, 1971 she was united in marriage to Robert Helmick in Estherville.
Deanna enjoyed playing games on her tablet and playing BINGO. She also enjoyed completing knitting projects. Deanna excelled at and loved to make homemade noodles.
She is survived by her children, James, Tanya, and Chris (Karina) Helmick; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jannie (Richard) Baker, Nancy (Gary) Espinosa, Mark Clark, and Alan (Aimee) Clark, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Deanna is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Florence (Mason) Clark, her husband Robert Helmick, three sisters Patricia Krause, Linda Moore, and Margaret “Peggy” Wilkins, and brother George Clark.
A memorial service will be held for Deanna on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Henry Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. Deanna will be laid to rest with her husband, Robert at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
