Lime Creek Nature Center holding open house on March 21 to celebrate the completion of new exhibits

MASON CITY – The Lime Creek Nature Center is celebrating the completion of their exhibit renovation project with a public open house on Saturday, March 21 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the nature center. A short ceremony recognizing donors will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Bring the whole family for a fun, relaxing, and educational afternoon at Lime Creek! Browse through all our fantastic new exhibits while enjoying snacks, a selfie station, and prize drawings. Kids will enjoy a scavenger hunt, making wildlife tracks and getting up close and personal with some of our live display animals!

There will be a PowerPoint showing the installation process, a display of photos taken by our major donor the late Maxine Sanberg, and a discounted sale of various gift shop items.
