WAVERLY – A Waverly woman fatally ran over a child with a pickup truck Tuesday evening.
The accident took place at 1644 Easton Avenue in Waverly at about 8:40 PM Tuesday, July 30, on private property. According to the Iowa State Patrol, 67-year-old Kathryn Ann Krukow of Waverly pulled a 2014 Chevy Silverado forward, not knowing a juvenile victim had fallen under the vehicle. The child was fatally injured.
The accident remains under investigation. Waverly police and Bremer sheriff’s office assisted at the accident scene.
