CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man is accused of his second drunk driving offense this year after an arrest this weekend.

A Cerro Gordo county deputy conducted a traffic stop on Saturday evening, September 16 at about 9:45 PM near 8th Street North and 10th Avenue North. After an investigation during the stop, the deputy arrested 35-year-old Clear Lake resident Ricardo Raul Garcia-Martino on charges of second-offense operating while intoxicated and driving while revoked. He was warned for no registration.

Garcia-Martino was taken to the county jail, booked and released, pending a court date. He was caught drunk driving by the Iowa State Patrol in Cerro Gordo county back on April 7. His license was revoked, and he still owes the entire $1,932.50 in fines and court fees from that case.
