Police nab wanted Mason City man in connection to drive-by shooting incident

CLEAR LAKE – A wanted Mason City man who allegedly perpetrated a drive-by shooting in Clear Lake was nabbed Wednesday afternoon.

Clear Lake police confirm that on July 10, around 2 PM, Dylan J. Mitchell was arrested by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office in rural Hancock County. Mitchell was transported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail where his is being held waiting arraignment.

Mitchell (pictured at top), age 32, was wanted on two counts of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon. The charges stem from a June 27, drive-by-shooting incident in Clear Lake which occurred in the 500 block of North Shore Drive.
