ALBERT LEA – A Mason City man has been jailed in Albert Lea for an alleged illegal relationship with a teen girl.
The Albert Lea Tribune reports that 21-year-old Isaiah Homan is accused in Freeborn County District Court of use of a minor in a sexual performance and solicitation of a child to engage in sexual conduct. Authorities claim Homan traded nude pictures with a girl whom he later discovered was 14-years-old; he met the girl using Facebook. The girl’s phone was searched by law enforcement, uncovering the nude photos.
Homan remains held on $40,000 bail. He is set to appear in court this coming week. The Tribube reports that the charge of using a minor in a sexual performance could land Homan in prison for up to 10 years.
