‘Green cat finally gets washed’
This story ran earlier in January on the UK’s Metro news site, the ridiculous headline above drawing all manner of internet-based attention! Locals in Varna, Bulgaria had been in a fuss concerning a local cat that one day turned up completely green, only to disappear when the locals had gotten to terms with their verdant moggie. Conspiracies concerning the cat’s abduction began to circulate, until it came to light that the cat had simply been washed in the rain, reverting to it’s original colour. Apparently the cat had been rolling around in green paint, a far cry from local assertions that vandals were to blame!
‘Girl, 12, who pulled off HK$36 million diamond heist hunted by Hong Kong police’
Hong Kong is mainly known for its many casinos, and the country’s casino industry has been booming in recent years thanks to Chinese tourism. The country is also bursting with luxury goods, it seems, as news recently surfaced that police were searching for a 12 year old girl who, working with a gang, managed to steal a diamond necklace worth HK$36 million! She won’t be able to cash it in and head to the casinos though; door staff are very strict in the Chinese territory! ‘Man accused of having sex with Shetland pony insists he has NO sexual interest in animals’
News from the UK now, with the news that a local man from Sheffield is denying that he had sex with a pair of ponies. The defendant, speaking at Sheffield Crown Court, was seen leading away two ponies into a dark area near some stables. Locals called the police, fearing a theft was underway, and confronted the man who smelt very strongly of horses and was sweating heavily. The trial continues…
