MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was stopped by a deputy and illegal drugs were found in her possession.
A Cerro Gordo deputy initiated a traffic stop on Thursday, January 15 at about 9:14 PM near the 100 block of 9th Street NE. The deputy soon discovered that the driver, 36-year-old Heather Lynn Graves of Mason City, has a suspended driver’s license and no insurance. Further investigation uncovered the illegal drug marijuana in her possession.
Graves was arrested and her vehicle was impounded. She was held until she posted $1,000 bond. She awaits a court date.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
