MASON CITY – Police removed a homeless man from the streets of Mason City early Thursday morning.
Mason City police were called to 519 4th Street NE on June 26th at about 2:35 AM on a report of an unwanted subject. Police discovered 19-year-old Michael Isiah Schenker, listed as a homeless Mason City resident by police, at that location. Schenker was wanted on a felony third degree burglary charge brought by Mason City police for an incident that allegedly occurred on June 22.
Schenker was taken to jail and booked. He faces a July 11th hearing.
