MASON CITY – NIACC freshman Ryan Moran was selected to the NJCAA Region XI first-team as a first baseman/pitcher.
Moran (Bridgeport, Conn.) hit .329 with nine doubles, five home runs and a team-leading 30 RBIs. Moran led the Trojans with three saves.
NIACC sophomore Brett Guba was a second-team selection as an infielder and freshman Daniel Bradley was a honorable mention outfield selection.
Guba (Eden Prairie, Minn.) hit .331 with 23 RBIs and had 17 doubles, which shared the team lead with Bradley. Guba finished with 100 career hits becoming the 13th player in school history to join the 100-hit club.
Bradley (Auckland, New Zealand) hit .333 with four home runs, 1 triple and 28 RBIs to go along with his 17 doubles.
