WASHINGTON – A panel of mostly liberal talking heads dissected some of Iowa Congressman Steve King’s most outrageous statements Friday on national TV.
An MSNBC political show called “Hardball” brought in a panel of 4 political strategists to explain how the “GOP continues to alienate itself from mainstream voters using the antics of Rep. Steve King as an example.”
The panel piled on Rep. King’s remarks on issues like President Obama’s birth certificate, the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), and remarks made about Latino persons who have “calves the size of cantaloupes” from hauling drugs through the desert.
“It’s so icky,” one panelist said.
King has been a lightning rod of controversy for years, but continues to garner widespread support from Iowa voters.
Steve King represents Iowa’s Fourth Congressional District, which includes Mason City , where he recently opened an office.
I just read all these posts …all I can say is…palm to face!!! People really need to think out side the box, look at the bigger pictures. Even if any one of you had a good point, it was lost in the snideness and personal name calling. The signal mindedness and limited views/thinking ….is why this country is in trouble.

I said I agreed with that post. It doesn’t say anything about me or him leaving Iowa (which I would if it were not for our grandkids here). It says that King and the extremists that support him is a reason why many are leaving. The northern part of Iowa is slowly turning in to a very regressive part of the state.
