Ten years ago, Niacc was considered a good place to work.

Through the Deb Derr years, it was not.

Hopefully, someone will be hired who is not a self-promoter, who can improve faculty morale, and improve student performance and outcomes.

There is no need for the board to be snookered into thinking that the great big bucks are necessary to hire someone qualified.

More than that, the board should understand that most of the tuition increases over the past decade or so have gone to administrative personnel, both in salary increases and increased positions.
