AMES, Iowa – Iowa State is not extending the contract of women’s soccer head coach Wendy Dillinger according to Senior Associate Athletics Director Calli Sanders.
In her six-year career at Iowa State, Dillinger had a 48-58-11 overall record and an 11-40-4 mark in the Big 12.
Current Cyclone assistant coach Tony Minatta will lead the club at the Big 12 Championship in Kansas City, Mo., this week. He is former head coach of the Ft. Collins (Colo.) Soccer Club from 2005-11.
The search for Dillinger’s replacement will begin immediately.
