TULLAHOMA, Tenn., May 14 (UPI) — A Tullahoma, Tenn., man was arrested after he shot his 13-month-old child while taking apart a handgun in his apartment, police said.
Kevin Sayre, 26, was charged with aggravated assault after the incident Sunday, The (Nashville) Tennessean reported.
The child, whose name was not released, was airlifted to a Nashville hospital and reported Monday in critical but stable condition, police said.
