NEW YORK, April 29 (UPI) — Brook Lopez’s 28 points and 10 rebounds Monday helped the Brooklyn Nets stave off elimination with a 110-91 first-round playoff win over Chicago.

Deron Williams added 23 points and 10 assists for the Nets, who entered the contest down 3-1 in their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series after blowing a late lead and falling in triple-overtime Saturday.

Andray Blatche put in 13 points, included 10 in the fourth quarter as Brooklyn pulled away with a late scoring spurt.

Nate Robinson — who sparked the Bulls’ comeback in Game 4 — supplied 20 points and eight assists for the Chicago, who will try again to wrap up the series at home in Thursday’s sixth game.

Jimmy Butler (18 points) and Carlos Boozer (10, 10 rebounds) also reached double figures for the Bulls.
