MASON CITY – Diamond Miller of Lakeville South High School in Minnesota has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball during the 2013-14 season at NIACC.
Miller, a 5-foot-11 forward, averaged 7 points and 8 rebounds per game last year for Lakeville South (Minn.) and was a first-team all-South Suburban Conference selection.
“You guys are getting a player with a ton of potential,” Lakeland South coach Angie Iverson-Ohnstad said. “I didn’t keep track of charges, but she drew more than our whole program combined.”
Miller is NIACC’s second recruit this spring. The Lady Trojans signed Mason City’s Cortni Rush on Monday.
