AMES, Iowa – Iowa State returned to The Associated Press top 25 poll with a No. 24 ranking after winning the Junkanoo Jam last weekend in Freeport, Bahamas. The Cyclones are 4-0 following the wins over Loyola Marymount and Illinois.
Iowa State has defeated its four opponents by an average of 24.5 points per game. The Cyclones have held their last three opponents to an average of 30 points below their season average entering the game.
The Cyclones are one of seven Big 12 teams ranked in the top-25, the most of any league.
Iowa State returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Drake at Hilton Coliseum at 7 p.m.
