DES MOINES – The Iowa State Patrol confirmed today that two men are dead today after a head-on collision on Interstate 80 in the Des Moines area.
The accident occurred just after midnight on the I-80 westbound lanes near the 134 mile marker.
According to the state patrol, a vehicle driven by Brandon Anderson, 25, of Des Moines was eastbound in the westbound lanes when he made contact with a westbound vehicle driven by Kevin O’Sullivan, 53, of Elizabeth, Illinois.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene and the accident is still under investigation.
