MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested for drug possession last week.
Lewis M. Wheeler, 20, was a passenger in a vehicle Friday afternoon of September 28th when the driver was stopped by law enforcement for speeding near the Indianhead shopping district
A controlled substance was found and Wheeler was arrested and booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance (124.401(5)) and possession of drug paraphernaila (124.414).
Online records show that the Mason City Police cited Wheeler on October 1 for possession of marijuana in relation to this incident. He posted $1,000 bond that day.
Wheeler will go before a judge on October 5th at 3 PM.
The driver was cited for speeding.
