Beginning Monday May 7th, 2012 at 7:00 AM, the Mason City Utility Division will begin Water Main repairs in the 3000 Block of 12th Street NE at the Ideal Creek Bridge, 1500 feet west of N. Florida Avenue. 12th Street NE will be reduced to one lane of traffic until repairs are completed. All traffic should expect to stop and alternate with oncoming traffic. The projected time for all repairs is expected to be two days.
Expect congestion and delays around this area while the street is under construction. Use Hwy 122 as an alternate route to bypass around the construction area. Please watch for construction workers and equipment if you are traveling near the work zone.
