The Mason City Woman’s Club is celebrating 89 years as it begins its new season of service and programs. Opening the season is the annual Tour of Homes on Tuesday, September 13th from 1-3pm. A tea will follow the Tour from 2-4pm at First Citizens Bank in the Heritage Room. The Tour and Tea are members-only functions. Watch the Globe Gazette for additional publicity and information.
Membership in the Woman’s Club is $15 for the season. Memberships can be purchased at HyVee Drug Store, In Home Gallery, and Borealis Station as well as through any Executive Board member. The Mason City Woman’s Club welcomes women from Mason City as well as the surrounding communities. Every member matters!
Wright on the Park is the program for October 11th. An annual event of the Woman’s Club is the book sale which will be held at Willowbrook Mall on Friday October 28th and Saturday October 29th. We are accepting donations of books for the sale now. You & Your Prescriptions is the November 8th program. Our Christmas program is December 13th. March 13th is the first program of 2012 ñ Gearing Up for Spring. The programs will be held in the Heritage Room at First Citizens Bank.
We are moving our Luncheon and Style Show to April 10, 2012. We wanted to change things up this year and welcome spring with fashions, fellowship, and a luncheon.
