Larson Contracting was in East Park today, beginning work on the Band Shell renovation project.
Workers at the scene told NorthIowaToday.com that they will be tearing off the shingles on the roof, and adding siding to the exterior. They also said to “columns” will be placed on the far outside of the front of the band shell.
More work will be completed by other contractors as well.
GD&P Director for Mason City Pam Myhre said the project’s completion is slated for the end of September.
