At approximately 4:30 a.m. Thursday morning, a Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Officer assisted the Clear Lake Police Department in a search for subjects involved in an attempted burglary in Ventura.
The officer stopped a vehicle near East Lake Street and Hillcrest Street in Ventura to question a subject. He spoke to the subject in regards to the situation, and then released him.
A local resident was asked if they knew what was going on, “I don’t know for sure, but there were police shining their spotlights early this morning, looking for something.”
