The running track at Mohawk Stadium in Mason City is getting a new surface at this time.
According to Mason City schools officials:
– Heartland Asphalt is on target for removal of old track
– Fisher Track received bid to prep and install new surface
– Purpose of Refinishing Project: Track wear and tear was creating an unsafe surface for students.
– Physical Plant and Equipment Levy funds support this project
No costs were given nor an estimated completion date.
