Mason City, IA; The newest Junior A hockey team to play in Mason City today announced the additions of a Director of Marketing/Sales and the Team’s Housing Coordinator.
Ellie Holmen, Marketing and Sales Manager for the North Iowa Bulls, is a recent graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato with Bachelor of Science Degree’s in Sports Management and Marketing. Ellie has previous experience in marketing and sales with the Austin Bruins Junior A Hockey Team and the Mankato MoonDogs Baseball team of the Northwoods League. Ellie is no stranger to the hockey world as her fiancÈ is Mason City native Alex Maginnis, who played for the Mason City Mohawks, Bismarck Bobcats and North Iowa Outlaws. Holmen states: “I am unbelievably excited to join the North Iowa Bulls family and can’t wait to be a part of the great hockey and the great family atmosphere that this organization plans to bring back to Mason City. I can’t wait to start meeting with folks in North Iowa.”
Heather Jo Bailey, Housing Coordinator, housed players all five years with the North Iowa Outlaws, served on the teams Booster Club, and was an active volunteer with the team. Heather Jo and her husband Buck, have two children, Kade ñ 4 and Kacey ñ 3.
