Open House and Coffee at Elmwood Cemetery Thursday morning

An Open House and Coffee is being held on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM for people interested in volunteering for Elmwood-St. Joseph Municipal Cemetery’s Adopt-a-Section program. Adopt-a-Section volunteers assist in keeping the cemetery grounds beautiful by picking up litter and sticks, straighting veteran flag holders, and other small tasks. Interested persons are encouraged to learn more by attending the open house at the cemetery office at 1224 South Washington Ave in Mason City or call 641-421-3687. This is an opportunity to spend two to four hours per month being productive, getting some exercise and enjoying the history and beautiful landscapes in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery.|
