Escapee arrested after fleeing

On March 26, 2011 at about 7:55 AM, Mason City police officers responded to the BeJe Clark Residential Facility at 818 15th SW on a report of one of their residents had fled the complex on bike without permission. One of the responding officers located him at 6th and South Monroe Ave. and he refused to stop. The subject was stopped at 3rd and South Monroe at which point he then threw his bike at the officers, striking him. The male was Bradley Wayne Willier, age 32, of Mason City. Willier is charged with escape (D felony) and interference with official act (aggravated misdemeanor). Willier was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail.|
