MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was jailed after an alleged shoplifting incident at Shopko.
Mason City police officers were dispatched to Shopko, 615 South Monroe Avenue, on the afternoon on March 11, 2018 to take a shoplifting report. After an investigation, they arrested 19-year-old Sydney Kay Beaver of Mason City on a charge of fifth-degree theft.
Beaver was jailed and soon released, pending a non-jury trial set for April 5. Attorney Richard Tompkins of Mason City has been appointed to represent Ritter.
