NIACC men stop Wartburg JV, 75-63

MASON CITY – Matt Baker scored 21 points and Jason Gumm scored 15 points to lead the NIACC men’s basketball team to a 75-63 victory over the Wartburg College Junior Varsity Sunday in the NIACC gym.

NIACC led 44-35 at the half and outscored the Knights 31-28 in the second half.
Tim Trousell led the Trojans (14-9 overall) with 10 rebounds. Gumm also had nine rebounds and three steals.

NIACC returns to action Saturday at DMACC in an ICCAC contest.
