North Iowa man busted with meth, may have been trying to deliver it

MASON CITY – A North Iowa man was caught on the city’s North End late Wednesday night with the illegal drug methamphetamine, and cops say he was trying to deliver it.

A traffic stop was conducted by a Cerro Gordo deputy Wednesday night, May 27 at about 10:48 PM near North Federal Avenue and 6th Street. During the traffic stop and investigation, the driver, 27-year-old Kory Kent Hackenmiller of Grafton was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Hackenmiller was arrested and charged with possession of meth with intent to deliver and failure to affix a tax stamp to the illegal drug. His vehicle was impounded and he was taken to the county jail, where he is being held on $100,000 bond.
