CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man accused of domestic abuse assault has been arrested for violating the no-contact order in the case.
On March 27, at about 8:31 PM, Charles City police located and arrested 31-year-old Justin Mayberry on a warrant connected to violating a no-contact order in a domestic abuse case. He was jailed and soon released as he awaits a hearing on April 8 for the violation.
On March 15, Mayberry was arrested after police investigated a domestic incident that took place on March 12, 2015. Mayberry was jailed and released from jail the next day on his own recognizance as he awaits an April 3, 2015 preliminary hearing on the charge of domestic abuse assault.
According to his social media page, Mayberry said “My life is in her hands after tonight it’s in God’s hands hope this time it works love you mom it will be better this way.” To which his friend replied “Try thinking about your children, and your mother’s health.”
