VAN BUREN COUNTY, IOWA – A Swaledale man already incarcerated and convicted of burglaries from around the North Iowa area was convicted last week of more felony burglary charges and is now accused of more crimes.
Todd Leverne Hambly, age 33, pled guilty on July 18th to felony third degree burglary charges out of Van Buren county. He was sentenced to an indeterminate amount of prison time to be served concurrently with his other prison terms he was recently sentenced to in Cerro Gordo county and Franklin county. In addition, he is awaiting trial in Van Buren on another burglary charge.
Hambly is also accused of more burglaries in Mitchell county. He is currently being held in the Chickasaw County Jail.
