Skating enjoyed at Ray Rorick Park

MASON CITY — Hockey fans sharpened their skills Sunday at Ray Rorick Park in Mason City.

The rink has been a hit with skaters since it opened for the season this month. There is a warming house and lights for night skating.

Curiously, one of the nets was missing Sunday. If you have it, please bring it back.

Meanwhile, enjoy a few photos from the rink.

Lucky One- I was just flipping through here, doing an update on the story. Although, my pictures are of guys playing hockey on the ice also, it is not limited to hockey players. All ice skaters can enjoy fun and outdoors on the ice arena at Ray Rorick Park.

Are non hockey skaters allowed here? If so, I may have to buy a pair of skates!

Glad to see Joe is still writing for NIT. Big mistake letting him go, Globe.
