WEBSTER COUNTY – A Northern Iowa man is dead after losing control of and crashing his vehicle
According to the Iowa State Patrol, a fatal accident occurred on December 6, 2021, in Webster county. At about 5:30 PM that evening, 45-year-old Arthur Loyd of Vincent, Iowa, was eastbound on 140th Street near Vassie Avenue when he lost control of his 1998 Dodge pickup. The pickup entered the north ditch, then entered the south ditch, where it rolled and came to rest upside down on the roadway. Loyd was trapped in the pickup, the patrol says, and pronounced dead at the scene.
