EMMETSBURG – Three juveniles were arrested on felonies after they allegedly made “terroristic threats” at an Emmetsburg school, police said today.
On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, the Emmetsburg Police Department was notified by the Emmetsburg Public School of possible threats of harm to students and staff. Three juveniles were identified and charged with conspiring to make terroristic threats, a Class D Felony. The school that was targeted was not named.
The investigation is still on-going, however there is no evidence to show that there are any further threats, said Chief Ryan Veldboom of the Emmetsburg Police Department.
