CHARLES CITY – A search warrant executed at a Charles City apartment yielded well over a pound of marijuana and the arrest of a man who has made trouble before.
The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 100 7th Avenue apartment #7 on November 2 at 1:40 AM, Charles City police said. “Nearly 1.5 pounds of marijuana was seized along with other drug related items,” they reported. Charles City police officers assisted at the scene.
As a result of the raid, Joseph Hill, Jr., age 34, was arrested and charged with possessioin of marijuana with intent to deliver, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the jail on $10,000 bond.
Previously, Hill has been guilty of harassment (twice), domestic abuse assault, criminal mischief, and more in the Floyd and Cerro Gordo county areas.
