CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man is charged with another domestic abuse charge and harassment after multiple arrests this year.
The trouble for 32-year-old Justin Mayberry began on March 15, when Mayberry was arrested after Charles City police investigated a domestic incident that took place on March 12, 2015.
Then, on March 27, at about 8:31 PM, Charles City police located and arrested Mayberry on a warrant connected to violating a no-contact order in that domestic abuse case. On October 3, police say he again violated that no contact order. No outcome to those charges has taken place in court, to date.
Finally, on October 9, police arrested Mayberry on warrants connected to the events on March 12 and October 3. He was charged with domestic abuse assault, malicious prosecution, and fourth degree criminal mischief.
Mayberry again posted bond and was released from jail. He will face an arraignment on December 1 on the new charges and a trial on November 19 on the charges from March.
